The 80/20 Rule

In an ideal world we would all love our morning Kale smoothie, but that doesn't mean we love chocolate cake any less.

I am a very realistic dietitian – I live by the 80/20 rule and recommend that my clients do the same.


80% of the time you are conscious of what you put in your body and 20% of the time you enjoy all of the foods you love which you know you shouldn’t consume on a daily basis.


The 80/20 rule allows you to be intentional about what you put into your body but still indulge at birthday celebrations, holidays or just any social gathering without sacrificing your long term health.
